A step-by-step process designed to release the actor’s instrument into the given circumstances. Learn how to cultivate story through your unique perspective and voice . Through script analysis and a system of improvisatory exercises, you will learn how to make personal choices that inform and illuminate the world the writer has created.

Learn how to live spontaneously in front of the camera. Based around the same process as In-Person study, while addressing the rigors and restrictions we interpret when working on-camera. Learn to live as adeptly on screen as you do on the stage.

Private coaching allows you to work one on one with Desean, or one of the L.A.S. coaches, on self-tapes, auditions, grad auditions or individual classes. For self-tapes, industry-standard video and sound equipment guarantees a professional product.

This course is the main axis of training at L.A.S, giving students not only a shared vocabulary but a suite of tools, exercises, & techniques for approaching the work on stage, screen, and beyond.
The Creative Lab is a four-week online class; areas of exploration include Active Analysis, the Creative State, the Five Questions, and Creative Tasks. Whether you're a seasoned artist, a relative newbie, or anywhere in between, The Creative Lab will help your work become more engaged, creative, personal, and alive.
